I was exaggerating a little bit, but comparatively she has much less screen time. Even in the dance shot Kanon is especially hard to notice. Its not a Reina Riho kind of thing either... I mean Masaki doesn't even have a solo line and she was all over this PV. .But its not about the other girls having too much. (Masaki was awesome in the PV!) Its just that I want all the girls to stand out in the PV even if they don't have many lines.

Although luckily Kanon has been shining on TV appearances and when communicating with fans like the guy who was in the dance cover of Renai Hunter.

Great editing and I liked the various angles of the danceshot and the mirror shots were divine.

But UGH AT THE FUCKING SPARKLES. Infuriating. Such a good video ruined by the cheapest thing you could have possibly done.

Yes, not an awful lots of money were spent on this. But, that doesn't matter. What matters is how it's edited, and how they deal with what's given to them. One can make the best MV without spending much at all. And in this case I think it's been dealt with perfectly well. Some will not like the dance, some will not like the outfits, some won't like the filters or whatever, but considering what they had; three different sets, they did a great job. They shot great scenes and gave the girls great directions.
It's a very well done MV, no matter how much or little it cost to make it. The money doesn't matter.

YES

Ayumi Hamasaki's "Jewel" is one of the most expensive MV's ever made. Now go watch it and tell me it's not boring because it expensive

(Hint: It's boorriinngg)

The problem with the MV is that Dance Shot already captured the essence of the song. The MV might give some nice close-ups for the fans, but for a wider audience the Dance Shot is more fun to watch.

I think the video does a good job introducing us to this "New Morning Musume" - which HONESTLY I think was the intended purpose. The girls are quaffed and preened and perfect (As Roy said, they are so perfect they are "Doll-like"), they're looking at the audience through Sparkles and a Soft focus lens. The shots are specific, making each girl look her absolute best - not a hair out of place, not a goofy look among them. Each girl gives their exact serious character in the close ups. We know Sayumi, Mizuki, and Haruna (Maybe even Eripon, given her costume) are supposed to be the sexy ones. That Reina, Riho, Ayumi, and Haruka are supposed to be the cool ones. We can tell from Zukki;'s hairstyle she's the goofball, from Masaki's demeanor she's the shy one. If we look at the chorus we see Mizuki and Sayumi with heavy, lidded eyes and Come Hither stares, while Reina stares at us challengingly. Masaki looks at us through hands on her face and behind her hair (Denoting her shyness). Riho looks on with confidence. None of the girls ever fall into a different archetype (I.E. Zukki accidently looking sexy in one shot, or Erina ever smiling)

Everything in this video seems heavily choreagraphed, very specific to get the audience to understand these new girls. I think it does it's job, honestly

I dunno looking cheap and being cheap are two different things. Shabondama and Kare to Issho ni Omise ga Shitai! both were cheap but looked amazing and fitted the songs perfectly. The 'sparkle' filer they used in the One.Two.Three PV just distracts from the girls and just looks like something anyone with a copy of final cut pro.
