I liked so much the name "H!P eggs", it was cuter.
But, with this new name, I would like them to change the concept a bit : Trainees who are sure to debut someday.

@amped: Starra means "argument" in the logical sense, not the colloquial sense. IOW, "a chain of reasoning intending to persuade."

She's (just) remarking that she doesn't find the chain of reasoning giving rise to your opinion to be one that is logically coherent. Her position is that not all Japanese words are treated equivalently. A word which is part of a proper noun is privileged and should remain untranslated when stating the name of that object, as opposed to a common noun, which is not a name and should be translated to preserve meaning.

For example:

Rika's second photobook is called: "Ishikawa Rika Shashinshuu."

Starra (and presumably Sohee, claneski, etc.) would argue that the above sentence is better than:

Rika's second shashinshuu is called: "Ishikawa Rika shashinshuu."
or
Rika's second photobook is called: "Ishikawa Rika photobook."

but boinsie might opine:

Rika's second photobook is called: "Ishikawa Rika shashinshuu (Rika Ishikawa photobook)"

is even better.

For me, I think it could go either way. I mean, in English, we call China "The People's Republic of China," translating the "Renmin Gongheguo" part as People's Republic, but leaving intact "Zhonghua" as "China" instead of trying to translate it to "the center of civilization" or something. But Japan goes the untranslated route, calling the US either Amerika or Beikoku, the bei "米" being an abbreviation of the ateji word 亜米利加 (Amerika). On the other hand in France, they call the United States "Les États-Unis," totally translating the words. Same in Spain, it becomes Estados Unidos, and USA is thusly abbreviated EE. UU. So I don't really see a problem with translating Kenshuusei, at least as an aside, like:
Hello! Project Kenshuusei (Trainee) Thread. But when it comes to common nouns like shashinshuu, it's just silly not to translate them unless we're gonna go full-on Nihongo.
