Believe it or not, there is an H!P connection: some of the clips feature Arisa Hario from Akihabara Backstage Pass.

That's Moeno Azuki. Known for eating absolutely massive amounts of food.

Who I just learned has an incredibly detailed English WIkipedia article.

My mistake. They look very similar, but the truth is that I wasn't really paying attention to that part; I just noticed the uniform and thought she looked familiar.

Yup, every night around here, except the time window has been inconsistent. Half the time it starts before it even gets dark. Other times, I’d hear it at 2am. Luckily, my apartment has pretty good sound insulation so my cat doesn’t seem to be bothered by it, but the whole thing is still obnoxious.

I've got a small herd of cats now, but at least none of them seem to care about the noise - last night, it was boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom, sort of like Sōda! We're Alive.

Arrived safely in Tennessee yesterday evening! The area we're staying in is on central time, but even though it's only an hour difference, it's kinda messing me up.
I started getting a little more excited once we got to north Georgia and started seeing mountains and hills. Most of the drive was interstate travel, but we popped onto some local roads once we got around Chattanooga.

I forgot how beautiful it was in this part of the state! My dad pointed out some random picnic area on one of the mountain roads, and it seriously paid off with this view.
You could even see Watts Bar nuclear plant from there! I can't imagine how amazing it is on a clear day.

And got a great sunset earlier:

I've seen a lot of things here already that brought back some memories. Mayfield dairy products! :crying:
They also sell Tillamook ice cream up here. Definitely not a thing in Florida. My longtime friend in Oregon raves about that stuff.

Actual house hunting starts tomorrow!

Greetings from Hong Kong! Before the hush ministry locate which coffee shop I am posting selfies from, I would like to reaffirm that HK is part of Miki's armpit. We should all welcome the warmth of her bosom against all forms of subversion/collusion with big Maki's yogurt.

That goes double for yogurt.

Ahem, the well-known dramatic rule of "Gocchin's gun" says you can't mention selfies in the first act without showing selfies in the third act.

Tillamook pepper jack on a light seeded rye makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches.
