[12/18] S/mileage 15th Single - ee ka!? /「ii yatsu 」 (Best Selling Single)

It's definitely reminiscent of PV's from the H!P dark ages, with the dance shot + solo shots combo. I still like it though, and are really loving those outfits. The song is great, though the rhythm will take some getting used to. The only complaint I'd have is how un-interested Kanana and Rinapuu look in the dance parts, when the eeka eeka parts are supposed to be high tension, but other than that it's pretty good.

Video was too safe. After yattaruchan's pretty awesome PV it's a bit of a disappointment.

However the song is AMAZING. After Yattaruchan it's def my second favorite song 6-nin s/mileage. (I've sort of mentally accepted them as a separate group from 4-nin s/mileage )

And the group still feels unified which is great! The girls energy level was very high. I don't think it's the girls fault that the PV seemed to be missing something, they really put everything they could into it. Rina really stood out in this PV! Kanana too. Love that the back girls are being pushed out to the front. It's probably why the group seems so cohesive. Everyone feels more like equals.

That poster in the background seems more interesting than that poor PV. They should have done the dance shot there with the pink background and the couch haha

Hoping the II Yastu PV makes up for this one just being okay. Come to think of it Yattaruchans PV was way better than Atarashii Watashi ni Nare.

The PV starts out so so, but the outfits together with some more random shots from behind make it better in the 2nd half. It's S/mileage, a little edge of hentai has always been part of their game.


btw, cool girl Akari should be more prominently featured in everything S/mileage.

I usually hate rapping too and edit it out of idol songs, but I still love Ee ka!?. S/mileage is definitely my favorite H!P group at the moment, it's really solid and well-rounded, and they keep getting nothing but great singles.
