If you're willing to give it another try, please do. It starts getting better around 1x08, "Father's Day". And then when you get to the 2005 Christmas Special and the Tenth Doctor, it shifts into second gear and smooths out.

I've been watching more. Almost done with the season. "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" is definitely great. :notworthy: Billie Piper annoyed me at the beginning of the season, but I'm fine with her now. By the way, I actually remember her as a pop artist over ten years ago because a few of her music videos popped up on TV.

One of my favorite scenes of the entire revived series…

Spoiler: show

Dr. Constantine is a great character. A crusty old war-time doctor, has already been through hell and knows the end is near, communicates what he knows as quickly and efficiently as possible to whichever stranger who may help after he's gone, doesn't blink at the stranger's weird buzzing instrument. I can imagine the Doctor taking him as a companion if he was younger and not so desperately needed where he was.

Anyhow, however you're watching the series, don't forget the Christmas specials. They're important bridges between seasons. If you're almost done with the first season, it'll be time for the 2005 special, "The Christmas Invasion".

I'm sad to see Eleven go but I'm excited for Peter Capaldi as Twelve. I've been watching The Thick of It and he really is a phenominal actor. Such good comic timing which is important for a fast-faced show like DW.

I think I still have a promotional button around here somewhere, which I got back in her pop star days.

This is for Starra, even though the points don't matter:

Spoiler: show
Total points from the original Whose Line Is It Anyway

"Original"? Umm…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whose_Line_is_it_Anyway%3F_(radio_series)

Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie were regulars on the British series starting in the early '90s (which is why they became regulars on the American series in the late '90s — they'd already been doing it for several years), so if we're counting total points over the entire run, they utterly destroy Wayne Brady.

^I'm sure he meant the original US version. But yes, it was originally a radio show. Then a British TV series.

Although fuck yeah, Wayne  .
