So "Ii Tsunku no Hi" will turn into "Warui Tsunku no Hi"?

If things were going well, there'd be no reason for management to stop treating them good. What happened behind the scenes we obviously don't know, but when things are going good they would continue making it go well -- see Cute.

As much as it sucks, assuming it's the latter that their attitudes are like this because it's the way they're being treated, that just shows their lack of professionalism. Of course no one would be happy, but it's their JOB to not show that they're not happy. They can complain all they want when the camera is off but when it's not that's not what they're supposed to do, THAT is not what they're getting paid for. And having ten years experience in the showbiz they should know by now, too, that if they want any change, they'll just have to work hard with what they get. If they don't, they can't expect for things to change.

I feel that the girls do try to be professional, but they do seem like they're tired and stopped caring. We know they are capable of more, we know they can do it, but it seems the fire isn't burning as strongly as before.

When the Budokan concert was announced, I felt that it might be the thing that will get them motivated again. But watching their reactions made it seem like they were insulted by it (not saying they actually were, just that they didn't seem as enthusiastic as I thought they'd be) and their performances recently have taken a down-grade.

I just hope they get their act together.

What surprises me about the Budokan announcement was it happened like right after Captain said Berryz was gonna step their game up. Which made it look to me like they didn't really have to earn their reward and her saying that and making Miyabi sub captain was just done for shits and giggles.

I don't know if Budokan was done because they're spoiled or not but I can see where it would look that way. I mean, was it a half assed promotion attempt they reneged on? Did the girls already know they were going to Budokan and started a little tiff with ℃-ute just cause? I don't know, to me it was a wasted opportunity to really give them an extra push.

With all of that said, as much bitching as we do about Berryz not caring or not be as good as they should probably be, and them being given whatever song wise they've sold 30K for the past 3 singles and the powers that be are probably perfectly fine with that. I mean WANT! and Asian Celebration had no tie ins, whatever for promotion, and PVs they didn't do well in and it still sold well for Berryz. So management prolly wonders why should they (as in management) go the extra mile and promote and push, if the money is coming in anyway?

How so?

They seemed shocked to me. More like "Why? We haven't really done anything". But I think it's safe to say Budokan was already planned for them. I'm pretty sure you have to reserve those arenas/concert halls some time in advanced.

I think people are perceiving a problem were there isn't one. Which is why I asked if they were being mistreated/treated differently at all. I don't think they are I think people are just doing that thing were they decided one of the girls is suffering from an eating disorder or deciding that Kanon hates being in Morning Musume and whatever else we decide here :mikihead:
