From what we could see of the making-of, Momoko was repeatedly being told to not smile. That has to play part in the whole bored look issue in Chinatown. Again, it hasn't been that long since cha cha SING and in that PV everyone seems to be having a blast, the girls didn't look unmotivated there (heck, they don't look unmotivated in that Succha ka Meccha ka "PV" for their album). Maasa's weight... I personally don't have issues with that and I think she looks good in both PVs, but I guess for the sake of the group's uniformity it'd be a good idea to go back to her 2009 self.
The thing with these PVs is that the concepts AND executions were very weak. Adam to Eve looks hardly over-expensive, but the direction is much better. The stage isn't an eyesore, the costumes aren't terrible, it looks good even if it's simple. Chinatown had so much potential for an interesting PV, and the costumes and dance are pretty awesome in my opinion, but it's pretty much a dance shot version with nothing else added - with an... ugly set to boot.
