Now I don't know which British panel show to watch.

Have I Got News For You is very good. They accidentally got well known lefty Ken Livingston on the panel the week well known rightwinger Margaret Thatcher died. It was an interesting show. If you have a proxy here is the link..

Lots of good and bad Disney things happening all at the same time.

Leaving my feelings rather confused.

1. Disney lays off nine veteran animators/guts hand-drawn animation division (Robert Iger/John Lasseter can both just fuck off at this point.)

2. "Did Disney Steal “Alice in Wonderland” Artwork from A College Student?" (The merchandise has since been removed from their store. People speculate it was either some lazy person taking it and passing it off to Disney as their own, or someone assuming it was for free use because they thought it was an actual period illustration because of the style.)

3. Disney Shuts Down LucasArts; Lays off 150 People

So, all you non-book readers, how did you like that ending?

Just got around to watching this. Damn, I really thought they were going to change that particular detail from the books. Up until the last second, I thought that.

Also, Daenerys was off-the-charts sexy during that bargaining session with Kraznys.

Mance, Jojen & Meera, Queen of Thorns & Margaery, Edmure & Blackfish, and the Brotherhood are great additions to the respective pov/arcs. Nice to see their characterizations were pretty spot on with the books too.

Since last season, Dany's arcs suffers the most from the adaptation imo. I mean, it can't be helped to turn Jorah once in a while into a walking exposition scene but at this point they really should've worked his own character into it better. Oh and the awaited triumphant return of the greatest knight in the seven kingdoms just fell flat on its face orz.

In order of how well done the arcs are and my overall interest to it, my preference so far are
Tyrion>Sansa=Brienne>Catelyn>Jon>Bran>Theon>Arya>Dany

Danaerys's sections in the books were generally speaking the least compelling to me. After the House of the Undying (which I could swear was lifted from another author's book), her storyline just got more and more uninteresting. But in the series, I am totally in love with tiny Emilia Clarke in that wig.

Dany's stuff could be a lot worse than it is. Between her and Jon, they'd leave me longing for more interesting chapters. Her stuff on the show, so far this season, hasn't been horrible. She's nice to look at in that blue dress.
