Also, it's obvious with these subs that all they did was translate the words, rather than in the context of the song. Also, lyrics need to flow. These don't.

I know I must be the odd one out, but I actually enjoy the subs being hard-subbed instead of close-captioned. They just look nicer and they're nice, big and easy to read(I'm just not personally fond of the look of cc).

I do think that the quality of the translations would increase immensely if H!P hired someone who was English first language, but knew Japanese to compliment the current translator and then have them work together. Though of course even now, having a translator who can go to Tsunku and go "Is it 'I' or 'you' or perhaps 'him' that is the subject of this sentence?" "Are you referring to this or this other part of the lyrics with this line?" is really nice.

Either way, I wonder if Indies singles are going to be HD when uploaded from now on since the Asahi one was as well...

^One of Tsunku's girl in Akihabara Backstage Pass knows 5 languages including English ( Kaori ). A few other girls in ABP knows English much better than any H!P member ^^; That is why I'm guessing Tsunku might have recruited them part-time doing the subs. Since he already have people with the language skill why not use them. Its much cheaper than hiring a 3rd party to do it. Btw, UFZS official videos are also being subbed.
