Though I agree that a bug monomane can't get you very far. But I did like what I saw of her at Kurobara. When in her right element she can be funny - again referring to MCs during concerts. I just wish they would play it up a bit more. Find her a tsukkomi or something - Riho would work tbh - and give them reasons to be funny and she would be.

It would be so great if they'd bring back Hello!Morning. I know it's not gonna happen but it would really give the girls an opportunity to grow their characters, and for fans to watch them flourish.

Kanon is very uneven for me. She was really great on Kurobara, even getting complimented by Nakai... but I don't know she feels heavily uneven. I hope she steadies soon. I know she's only 14 and at that age finding yourself it almost impossible, but she needs to settle on something soon. I guess if she wants to be good at Mcing and stuff that's cool, but, like you said Sohee, she needs to be pushed at it in order to understand it. At this point I don't understand her at all.

And it's not her fault either cause we don't really get a chance to understand her. This is why I'm hoping that at least she'll get to MC Hello Station. Just give her SOMETHING.

Zukki seems to be the tsukkomi for all of 9th gen. At least that's the impression I got from the 9ki Fanclub Events.

It's just a little unfortunate that Haruka seems to be even moreso of a tsukkomi than Zukki, thereby overshadowing her.


And on another note, I was watching TsunclubII and Chisato/Reina were talking about how Reina eats so little... I feel like she might have an eating disorder without even knowing it. I feel like a nutritionist would really help her.

Kanon is the most tsukkomi-lie out of 9th gen for sure, but she is no way near as good of a tsukkomi like, Haruka or Sayu for example. She is quite a boke I'd say. So she would need someone who could tsukkomu her lol. And Haruka wouldn't work as she's not only her junior but also younger and they haven't gotten past that yet.

Reina eats very little, but it's not like she's starving herself. She doesn't eat rice, but we've seen her eat both ramen and meat a lot and she posts about it on her blog too. I was worried for a while there, but especially considering she has been gaining weight lately even (she looks so healthy lately <3) I'm sure we have nothing to worry about. She's just really small by nature though. I wonder if maybe she was born too early o.o

^I think the reason is because Tsunku was harsh on her on his recent comments and then he said some girls could graduate before Sayu if they were slacking off. We all know Kanon was chosen for her personality, and if she's not showing it enough, it could be interpreted that she's slacking off or something. We're all speculating ofc, but it's the first thing that comes to mind?

I wish no one graduates before Sayu ofc. I don't really think he'll do it, but if it motivates the girls to work harder, then so be it.

^She doesnt get much opportunity to show it off too. Eripon gets prolly the most, then Haruna and Mizuki and of course Riho and MaaDuu.

edit: I did notice that in some of the group blog pics that Zukki is usually the one that is missing.

^mmm interesting, now that you point that... I don't recall seeing her much in blog pics either...
Maybe she feels left out? But the simplest and most probable reason is that she just doesn't care much for now. That's why so many people have noted she seems bored or that she doesn't wanna be there. And also Tsunku's remarks...

I hope she gets over whatever is troubling her, and pronto. Hopefully Tsunku's comments will help her in that regard.
