Sorry, I'm getting all theatre-talk in here. By 'commit' I don't mean that she's not consistent with that character. It's just kind of a half-hocked character. I mean, when Zukki was doing the monomane she was really making a complete ass of herself in the best way possible and people loved her for it. Haruna's great and sweet and we as fans see that, but pointing out a little blemish or talking about manga is not quite as risk taking as Sayumi's poison tongue or even Kanon's insect impersonations.

She's still working it out. She can be quite vicious if she wants to be (On Kurobara she refused to give a guy a compliment because of his Momoclo shirt) and her nerdiness is appealing. Kanon's monomane of ONE bug probably wasn't going to get her very far and doesn't really compare to Haruna's current character, especially since Kanon doesn't even do that stuff anymore. 10th Gen hasn't been around that long, they're still settling into their roles. But Haruna is talkative and funny, she'll be fine. She doesn't need the poison tongue of Sayu. I thought her agreeing she was a cross dresser was quite funny and quite memorable.

Pretty sure Yuuko chose her graduation. IIRC she felt like she was holding the group back and felt out of place with all the kids around.

She has said a few times she "wouldn't eat much." I know a few times she has talked about working so much she "forgot" to eat like the other girls so she would pass out randomly.

I... ok. I'm not disagreeing with you, but you've got a hammer so you're seeing my post as a nail. If you try to be objective you'll see that we're saying the same thing. She's consistently playing a character that needs to be fleshed out and executed differently. That's all.
