I feel like a lot of people misunderstand Zukki, just cause she doesn't act the way she did when joined doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy or not work her butt off. At the moment I am pretty sure Sayu is next in line for graduation and Tsunku is trolling. However if we went by fanbase I would guess Haruna and Zukki are in the most danger, I am saying this by what I saw while I was in Japan. Whose pics were sold out and whose signed posters people wanted and didn't want.

Since when did they go by fanbase for graduations though? I mean. Junjun, Linlin, Aika... lol. Aika probably would still have been in the group too, if it wasn't for her foot injury.

If Tsunku and UFA want a relatively large group, then some members of the group can (and probably would) be there as part of the ensemble, without necessarily having a large individual fanbase. That doesn't make them dead wood or "useless," either -- being part of an ensemble is a role with value in itself.

If Tsunku isn't just funnin' us, and they really would at least consider letting a few of the 9th and 10th gen go, I think it would be more likely to be because they weren't sufficiently cooperative, or didn't work smoothly within the group (as was supposedly the case with Koharu). And from what I can see, they all seem to be getting along pretty well as members of the group. (That's not just something that would be an issue in Japan, either - cooperation within a group is actually important in a lot of contexts everywhere, even in the most apparently individualistic societies.)

I was thinking there is one more person that they could graduate aka Sayashi Riho ala Goto Maki. Make her do a solo career and hardcore push Sakura ala Aichan. It would be a foolish move, but then they have made other foolish moves.

In this idol age, solo is not really the way to go. They haven't even tried to replace Mano Erina, and I don't think it's really needed, having more groups (like J=J and prolly another egg-based one will come) seems a smarter business position.

Making Riho go solo would be killing her career and diminishing, by a big margin, the MM fanbase. That's not gonna happen.
