Yeah and look where Lucky7 got them. Announcing an audition and not having any winners is hardly promo. I mean sure, it gets them on the news and no bad publicity and whatnot, but making the news this way and that making people curious and then let them down by saying no one, it's just not smart. Staying interesting, especially for MM, means adding girls in this situation and seeing how well their management has done lately, I expect them not to be stupid.

Besides. Saying that "if there's no good ones I might just not add anyone" doesn't mean anything tbh. He has said this and that during whatever auditions before anyway. Pretty sure he said something along those lines for 10th too somewhere.

Also, remembering how Tsunku said in that Special for whatever show, about how he really wanted to add like 10 girls or whatever during 9th gen audition, this isn't surprising. He wants a big Morning Musume again and we're slowly getting it.

I just hope there isn't another Tashima Meru, who most likely entered the audition just to be scouted and then go for the ***48 groups. Other girls may think they could do the same and have their big break. And it would seem that having passed the first round or higher of a MM audition is a great thing to have on your resume.

Anyway, that could potentally bring many girls into the auditions, so it can't be all that bad I think. I just hope no one quits before the final presentation or smtg like that.

Isn't there a rule against auditioning when you already have an agent? Like I don't mind if a girl auditions or gets scouted for AKB or Startdust or whatever after an audition but it's pretty lame to use an MM audition to get other jobs and then not even complete your audition for MM.

There are so many other girls that actually want to be in MM I'd rather they get a chance to audition. Maybe that's why Tsunku didn't show the 11th gen stuff on TV much because of Meru and the S/milage girl?

At least with the Stardust girl she never got to the finals. I hope her indies group does well.

Well I think some girls want to be in Morning Musume and once you don't pass an audition you can't really try again as Tsunku has proved. These girls want to be idols so of course they find another way... Even If that's AKB. We don't know why Meru left. She could have left on her own but she also could have been cut. I remember Tsunku talking about her face but in the audition footage she was pretty weak as a singer and dancer.

Also does anyone notice how this is the first audition that we will not have ten pages dedicated to complaining about mogi?

Nothing really. Its just that people haven't received their application form because it the email is sent into junk mail (and some people have that disabled). It just tells them to change their settings so they can receive it.
