I actually really like Haruna in that touque. This is probably the most I've liked her.

However, the reality is that we are bound by all kinds of rules, to the point where one has to wonder "what freedom do we have at all?". I think this is probably extremely true during our adolescent years, as applied to things like school and our teachers at the time.

However, after growing up, we often find ourselves thinking "that's just how things are", or "we just have to adapt to the situation", and we end up buying into the self-contradictory hypocrisy of the world around us. If our hearts had remained pure, we should have thought "why is this wrong?" or even "why is this not allowed?".

I don't know was going thru Tsunku mind, for me I think the people in Japan has more freedom than most other countries, or should I say more liberal. I mean, where in the world can you wear goth loli fashion like its the norm, cosplay in the streets every weekend ( everyday? ), eventho you have passed 40 you can still be like a kid collecting figures, play games and read mangas and no one will treat you like you have a dreadful diseases. Where in the world can you support your idol who is 30 years younger than yourself without worrying that your neighbours would report you to the authorities. There are more but this are just a few examples to give an idea what I meant :)

I like Tsunku's wacky lyrics, actually.

DO THE HUSTLE BE THE MUSCLE DAKISHIMETE THROUGH THE NIGHT.

idk. Japan sure has a lot of freedom in that sense, but their society for the average person and the expectations and "norms" they have to follow are far more ridiculous than many other countries. I mean, for example it's against the norm for a couple to kiss in public. Sure some people still do it, but it is generally frowned upon. In that sense, the "musts" and "must not" and whatever are far more in Japan, I find.

YES Japan is completely into that conform thing. What's their favorite saying? "A nail that sticks out gets hammered down" or something.

Oh yeah I get that. And, like, as a-sides he probably shouldn't do the crazy lyrics. But I think personally as c/ws and album songs, they'd be fine. Obviously not all the time, but every once in a while kind of thing. If that makes sense Idk.

Ayu: Yeah well pretty much. Standing out isn't a good thing, you gotta be like everyone else. Just be another wheel in their huge machine called "Japan's society."

Starra: I wasn't replying to you! Sorry XD

I don't see how on earth Japan has "more freedom" than we do here.

"and no one will treat you like you have a dreadful diseases. "

uuuuuh hello? did you never realize there was a stigma against otaku?

if anything, it's *more* acceptable to be an otaku here, I think, nowadays at least.
