That scene is so weird to me, why is that chick watching? Why do they look kind of bored? Why did they start so far away? And when they kiss they sit there for a while not even touching. I need some context, were the characters forced to or something?

I don't think he said he did that for Kimi sae ireba... But so what? Hardly a big deal nor do I find it that "weird" to begin with. It goes with the song, to me that's all that matters.
