[4/03] C-ute 21st single : Crazy Kanzen na Otona

You know everyone complained about Berryz trying to be sexy in WANT! And failing... But watching this video really shows that C-ute can pull off "sexy" and Berryz just can't. I love the song WANT! and the PV but in not a fan of the outfits. The outfits for C-ute look amazing in this PV. They just scream maturity!

(I also think that despite me being a straight female the video does make you pay alot of attention to their behinds. Was it the camera work?)

The only thing in the PV I don't care for is the makeup scenes. Sure they add some extra to the PV but isn't the sitting and putting on make up thing a little too cliche. I feel like H!P has done it way more than once.

Thinking about it the only members of Berryz who can pull off mature and sexy is Risako and Miyabi. Momokos childishness drags down the group in the sexiness category and I just cant see captain chinami and Maasa that way.

Momoko isn't childish, she just acts childish. If the decision was made by UF management to switch her shtick, she could totally pull off sexy.
Maasa not so much.
Chii can be sexy when she's in the mood.
And Captain is mad sexy what are you even talking about.

I think the main problem that BK has in pulling off sexy is that even though all the individual members can be sexy by themselves they can't all be sexy doing the same gimmick because they are too diverse a group in terms of looks.

First time I heard this song when I saw the PV. From the title I expect a heavier song, I was expecting something on the lines of Masara Blue Jeans or Tokaikko Junjou.

I think the tempo and the sound of this song actually makes it more mature. It goes with the lyrics and image of the song.

Hmm, there's something to be said for that issue. I mean, Chisato is one step removed from having MaeKen in C-ute, but even so, she doesn't detract from the sexiness of the entire ensemble because her height makes her unobtrusive.
