I think there's a lot of reasons for some of the things in this single. Sounding kinda similart to past singles and some other singles, the dance as Taunku said, etc. ithink it would be really cool if that's so

If that's the case, it explains the title too: it sounds like he put previous moves and sounds in this song that required a previous Brainstormring to create... I don't know if I explained it well xD

With regards to Brainstorming, which was released at the end of February on Youtube.

This surely will be a song that will pump everyone up at a concert! For the dance, we deliberately selected and brushed up certain moves from previous choreographies so as to connect the present audience to the dynamic synergy of the group!
Yoshiko-sensei is the choreographer for this time. I have wrung a lot of insight from Yoshiko-sensei in the process, working together to put the finishing touches to the dance this time. The theme this time is "Even though it's different from the old Morning Musume, we want to ride the recent high and and leave an impression". This is a pretty difficult theme, but Yoshiko-sensei was able to demonstrate her skills for us this time too!

The title for the song is "Brainstorming", which stands for how the current Japan, in order to move ahead in this changing world, have to amass creative minds from all over and exchange ideas and insights, so as to escape from the disorder we find ourselves in. This title represents my hopes. At first I wondered if just approximating the title as "Buresto" would be enough, but I finally decided on "Brainstorming" in the end.

It's not of the caliber of the previous 4 songs, but its not bad. It just sorta felt half assed to me and there's nothing about it that really grabs my attention and forces me to listen to it. But anyway, as much as I am bitching about it, I'm gonna buy the cd anyway.

It's so damn addictive! Each time I find something new in it's beat too...
