[3/13] Berryz Kobo 31st single : Asian Celebration

WANT! Is one of my favorite berryz songs of all time! I tend to love most berryz songs with a few misses tossed in there. I agree with Aa yoru ga Akeru being their worst song. It's like the Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai of Berryz.

Anyway I couldn't get through the whole radio rip of Asian Celebration. It's not a bad song per say but it's just not my thing. Some parts are good, but I don't like the chorus and the party party celebration parts. The outfits are just ok. Maybe the PV will be really good?

I had forgotten what Aa, Yo ga Akeru sounded like, but listening to it now, I don't think it's that bad.
My least favorite a-sides are Rival, Maji Bomber!!, and Be Genki. My favorite is Jiriri Kiteru, but maybe I have a soft spot for it since it was my first Berryz song.

I think the outfits for Aa, Yo ga Akeru ruined it for me, just like how the video for Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai ruined everything (lol, funny I just saw that Jessi also mentioned this song)

I think Koi no Jubaku just came out when I started listening to Berryz, and I really liked all their early singles. I made a conscious choice to just try some of their songs, so I went through and listen to all the early singles, so there wasn't really a first song for me.

I love all Berryz a-sides except WANT! and this one I guess, but there's still hope for Asian Celebration. 21ji Made no Cinderella used to be my least favorite, but it grew on me at some point.

The best Berryz song is Sakura wa Raku Sa. The best single is Kokuhaku though.
