To me too degrees is Celsius. But if I know the person talking is American, I'm definitely expecting them to talk about Fahrenheit, even if they would use the word degrees.

But I was confused because in Japan they use Celsius so .

The other day when fans were lining up since 5am to see the girls, he made comment to it being 32 degrees (ie, freezing) and no one made a deal about it. ^^;;;

^ Lol, she already said she was being pedantic. Besides it's not really an anti-Amped thing as a "hey, here's something original...let's shit on Americans for not jumping on the metric bandwagon" thing.

FYI Starra, basically in the US we pretty much never say "Fahrenheit" when we mean Fahrenheit. Just like you guys we just say degrees and context fills in what our prevailing standard measure of temperature is.

See now if everybody just switched to kelvins we wouldn't have this international discord.
