I love "Ame" but I'm not a fan of Maimi's version. It sounds rough. But then I learned it on flute a few months ago so I have a smooth flute version in my head.

I actually don't mind the simple PV, I tend to like simple PVs. But Kono Machi wasn't conceived as a ballad and it really shows. Just because you slow down a song it doesn't automatically become a good ballad.

Uhhh... I actually thought the original song definitely has a ballad quality to it though...
And yes, I do love this song as a true ballad

I absolutely love this song. I don't even mind the greenscreen either in the PV, what bugs me the most is the gray tone it had to it in color. Also there should have been something more put in there to make it more exciting to watch. No matter how nostalgic it's supposed to be, doesn't mean it have to be boring. Which is what it was. ): Doesn't make the song any less gorgeous though ofc. <3

I really like both Ame and Kono Machi.

I can't wait to hear Hae Otoko.. But I'm a bit nervous because it sounds so much better upbeat so hopefully it won't be slowed down.

Megumi had a boat load of potential, and its too bad shit went down with her the way it did. And Kanna and Erika weren't bad either. But I honestly think they were all addition by subtraction for that group. They aren't a large enough group now where people can hide in the background and I really think MaiMai, Nakky, and especially Chisato have benefited from it. It sorta forced them to get better. And C-ute's a really solid group because of it.

Is it bad that, as much as I love BK, I kind of wish there were some graduations so that this same improvement could happen? There are a few standouts in the group, while the rest seem complacent with where they're at, and not extending their success much further. Idk, it could just be shit management too, and that right now C-ute has an excellent manager that is pulling all of the right strings for them.

Yulina is my kamioshi, but dammit she does nothing, so I would just want her to graduate and get to modelling. And then they'd graduate whoever is holding back the dance routines, so that Miyabitch can really shine lol.

Keeping this on topic for the Kyuuto thread though, I do like this single, but I prefer the more upbeat originals. Hopefully some sort of upbeat remix for an upcoming album is a possibility.
