^oh goodness no you aren't the only one who notices! I mean look at the move she throws down during that first chorus. The sultry eyes, the wink and point. That girl is the truth when it comes to working the camera. She pulls off more with just her eyes alone than most H!P girls do with their whole bodies. I've always loved the charisma she brings to the table.

I have to say - I've never been much of C-ute fan. I liked Tokkaiko Junjuo like everyone else, and Namida no Iro wasn't so bad - but for the most part...I was always "meh" to C-ute.

However, I just gave Aitai Aitai Aitai na a listen - and I'm obsessed. I love the 5nin mature thing we have going now. I mean - I'm still depressed that Megumi left (I KNOW - GET OVER IT ALREADY!) but these girls all 5 (arguable with Saki, but she's no Koha *cringe*) can hold a note in their range. They give off a good vibe.

Glad they didn't just shove three or four new girls in with them.

Ame's nice, but I'd like it better if the whole group was singing. I don't like Maimi's voice enough to listen to a song with just her in it.

Megumi had a boat load of potential, and its too bad shit went down with her the way it did. And Kanna and Erika weren't bad either. But I honestly think they were all addition by subtraction for that group. They aren't a large enough group now where people can hide in the background and I really think MaiMai, Nakky, and especially Chisato have benefited from it. It sorta forced them to get better. And C-ute's a really solid group because of it.

Kono Machi is great, awesome. The PV however, is the worst thing ever to do to a group like C-ute. First you gave them a cover song and then you give them a crap PV. It's like a kick in the head. C-ute has had to work for everything they do, the least they could have done was given them a little more then a green screen and a white room.

I feel like C-ute is the over achieving middle child that constantly gets over looked by the older siblings and spoiled younger sibling by their parents.

But that's what people aren't understanding - the song is about nostalgia and simplicity. The "bad" green screen was done purposely. They cast a shadow behind them for christ sake that wasn't a lighting tech's mistake. You have to appreciate the PV for the idea behind the song. Simple - basic. It wouldn't have been right for them to be in elevated trees dancing with streamers and various rainbow colored umbrellas falling from the sky.

People would have just complained if they shot out in fields and what not. "Oh what an Aruiteru rip off!" - it was an attempt at originality without bastardizing the idea behind the song.

I don't even typically care for C-ute but - I like it.

i dunno what i was expecting after reading all the negative "worst PV ever" comments, but it really wasn't bad.

i didn't mind the green screens at all. they could have toned down the drop shadow so it still had the same effect without being an eye sore, but it wasn't that big deal (if people hated drop shadow this much i wish more fuss had been made about the covers for Help me!! ..those were way worse). if anything i wish that when they zoomed out on those green screen shots they wouldn't still be walking.. or that the background was moving. i dunno, something was off about those shots, they needed tweaking.

i'd say the worst thing this whole single has going for it is that it doesn't stand out in their discography (and they have quite a lot of singles like that, Everyday, Shochuu, Momoiro, etc.), but i mean.. the girls look absolutely gorgeous. plus i prefer a simple but professional-looking set ANY DAY to a more elaborate cheap-looking set (looking at you, PyokoPyoko.. and also One・Two・ Three.. WHAT I WOULD GIVE for that dance shot to have taken place in the white set ℃-ute used here). i appreciate this PV for how FREAKING GORGEOUS Airi is in it.. same thing i loved the Kimi Chari PV for.

so it's not my favorite PV by them, but it's certainly passable. the song is also nice, though again doesn't stand out in their discography.
