This is really amazing for the girls, it shows that their hard efforts can eventually pay off and that the Reborn Morning Musume is prepared for a new kick-off to their career!
I'm still stunned at how fast things happened, from losing the last "old" members to the group that's now so new and lively, and the great success they're having :')

Definitely true, but not for the people who just recently re-discovered Momusu or who were old fans seeing the group resurface again...
I mean, I became a fan around Kimagure Princess, so the long static stage they went through since then and the huge difference there is now is quite shocking, which is why I love the term "Reborn Morning Musume"

Not only did they hit number one, but they hit number one with a good selling number (SYO hit number one with 47k), in a week with decent competition (If this was 3 years ago, hell if this was a year ago, AAA and Super Junior KRY would have beat them), and there's still a ton more events so it won't drop off the charts very fast.

It's a good time to be a Morning Musume fan, we really are seeing the birth of a new era.

Well, I consider myself an AKB48 fan anyway. Both groups are very different imo, and I like both. And beeing an AKB fan since a little before they started to get some attention, when they hit a no.1 position or a record selling single, I can say that I enjoy a lot. I don't think that, as an AKB fan, I just can relax and wait for another one million, specially now that they are reconstructing the group and we can't know for sure if things will be ok or not. Specially because the old generation is starting to graduate right now and, well, they're the most famous. I, myself, can't know for sure if fandom will last after my favourites are gone.

That's the difference of AKB and MM, I belive. I've been following them since... 2001!!!! My old favourites, such as Gocchin or Yossy, are long gone. But there's always someone new to love lol. I admit that I still don't know how I'll feel about the group after Reina's graduation, but in general I like them so much that I can't see myself letting my love for MM to disappear. There've been times I actually got tired of them and some singles didn't excited me that much, I got disappointed a lot specially because I've seen the group beeing as its best shape (I mean, beeing recognized everywhere and beeing special guests to every show), also got frustrade with my hopes of them becoming a hit again. But I always comeback. And it's been like this for 12 years so. A lot of people I used to know from that time just gave up on them, but there are others, like me, that are still arround and allow themselves to love the newcomers and the different kinds of music they explored through these years. An idol group that can creat this kinds of roots and it's still active for 15 years is nothing but special.
And now I'm really happy that more people are knowing them and enjoying them the same as I do
For me, MM can last for another 15 years and I'll still be there lol
