Momusu is going to have to sell in the 120k+ range to overtake the momentum Super Junior has built. Hopefully this is another lazy release though, and by that I mean they just release it expecting it to do well on name alone without much promotion.
And well, we'll just have to see how the Japanese fans feel about the Hallyu wave now. I feel like there was a lot of backlash toward the end of last year, what with K-pop artists being barred from Kohaku. Now, I am all for mending international relations, so I hope that K-pop acts do well, but I am rooting for my girls too. I have faith that their widespread marketing will mean good things for this single, and even if it doesn't hit number one, if it outdoes WkTk I think it'll have been a success.
Hopefully UF had more singles shipped out to meet demand, I know they've had that problem before. Like when Maki had her re-imaging, and it was either GnP or SBT that sold out quickly because they didn't have that many available to meet the demand.
