^ Time hasn't been too kind with my initial perception of the song either, to be honest.

for me it was hearing a longer preview lol, like the initial part i had heard i liked, then the rest i don't like as much.

Those warbly bits just kill the song. And not in a good way. Hopefully the full studio version can redeem it, but they need to retool that performance. Nothing against the Berryz - if you had Aichan, Risa, Sakura and Linlin singing that it would still sound like squeaky chalk.

The instrumental sounds really good it's just hard to hear it in the concert rip. I think the studio version will sound much better. Asian Celebration sounds like the child of Cha Cha Sing and Want! Lol I think Tsunku wanted to meet somewhere in the middle with this one. The song seems good I just hate the "Party Party Celebration" parts. It's kind of cheesy for me.

Yeah, the squeaky parts are terrible. And it really doesn't help that the chorus is incredibly tame.

^ bingo, the verses are actually really cool but they ruined them with the chorus that is quite dull compared to the song, it just feels like 2 different songs mixed together, same goes for WANT! which is quite sad since they could have turned out to be amazing songs if they just made the chorus fit in with the rest of the song

Saw this performed yesterday @Nakano--it was seriously one of the highlights of the show. (Another one was Cha Cha Sing, for the record...)
Really, it's a killer song and it totally got the crowd pumped up. Berryz looked so sharp in the costumes, their voices sounded fantastic (much, much better in the actual event space than in the concert rips,) and the choreography is really, really cool. I'm super excited for it to come out, 3 months is too long to wait!
Also, has anyone mentioned the fact that Captain has a sick dance solo in this one, yet?
