They always separate Dawa/Kanon and the Shin Members from each other. It makes them group seem so disjointed. I hope we get a 3rd gen soon just to spice things up a bit.

^ Just off the cuff I imagine it's not necessarily a deliberate thing but simple logistics being that the other girls are probably studying for school or in band practice or beddy-bye or some other age-related activity. XD

Yeah I figure it's the age difference, but it's still really noticeable. I guess Sayu and Reina can come off that way too in Morning Musume, though MoMusu still somehow seems more cohesive than S/mileage.

Exactly. I don't care what the reason is that Kanon/Dawa do shows separately from the other girls--the ending result is that I'm left feeling like they're not one cohesive group.
It just sucks what's happened to them. I used to like them so much and now it's just... meh.
