To be honest, I think the more recent trends of trying to sell idols on some silly charm factor like "I give good compliments" or "I pretend I know magic" or "I think I'm Cinderella" or even "I give tours of buildings" is uninteresting and not worth my attention. Kaori didn't need to have a charm point. She was Kaori.

^Well if I have to point it out to you. Kaori does not have that kind of charm that Chokubo have. Everyone can approach Chokubo becoz she has a calming effect on the people around her. I remember how Reina described how difficult it was to approach Kaori.

Btw, it seems that Sayu has appointed Chokubo as acting-leader when shes not around.
But this doesn't neccessarily mean Chokubo will be the next leader since it was already clear in an interview that Fuku-hime will be next leader

Haruna doesn't say "I give good compliments" other people say she does and then people just ask her to compliment them. Even Tsunku said that he was happy to have found a personality like Haruna to bring into Morning Musume. She's just Haruna, a huge ass dork.

Granted no one pays that much attention to her, but if they did they would realize she's just being herself and she's kind of weird. Not in the spacey Kaori way, but weird none the less.

She is hardly uninteresting.

(I like Kaori a lot too, to me there is no competition and if people compare Haruna to Kaori that is a compliment and not an insult to EITHER OF THEM)

Yeah Haruna was my fav (after Ayumi of course) in 123. She looked like she was having sooo much fun , it made me smile a lot. She worked the hell out of the Help Me!! dance
