I checked tracking code of gift that I sent to *** and it isn't even in that country, by 3th Jan it still had been in customs

Echidna - I know you were my SS last year and your gift never arrived, either. You're in Russia, right? Maybe we should do some sleuthing as to if there are things that you're not allowed to ship into/out of that country. Or if it's maybe at all like Italy, which to my understanding it's a fool's game to try to ship into/out of because of all their restrictions/blatant thievery?

^russianpost is hella slow, (there are tons of jokes and memes in rus internet), but I think my SS gift to you simply got lost. sh!t happens %)) I order online a lot since...2005 I guess, and I (from what I remember) lost only 2 parcels, 1 from YA and 1 from CDJ. YA resend me same items without any extra money from me, and CDJ refunded.
once I choosed the cheepiest shipping method (without tracking code) at CDJ and parcel came to after like 4 months and this autumn I ordered i-pad cover from e-bay (chinese seller) with free shipping (i guess he also choosed cheepiest one) so parcel came to in almost 3 months

I re-checked tracking for my SS gift: it was at customs at 1st Jan, in the same day customes released(?) it, and 3th Jan it went to export.
We still had holidays (today is Christmas), so maybe the info on site is outdated and my parcel is on the way to ***

Definitely possible. I also saw that Russia had double the mail influx as they'd anticipated this holiday season.
