Not as good as Cha cha sing (29,099) but it's a good number. And weekly #3 sounds nice!

It's too bad after starting with 15K that first day.

It'd be nice if Berryz could even get to the 30K area in their first week without having to rely on a cover to do so. Is that too much to ask? They are the one group of the 4 sales wise that the arrow sales wise isn't pointing up. Maybe they can cover a ballad and have an anime tie in or something to get some love. Use what works for Berryz and what helped C-ute too.

Be Genki was before Cha Cha Sing right? What were the first week sales of Be Genki?

So I read Be Genki's total sales were around 17k So really this single is doing pretty well. It's already beat out Be Genki's total sales in its first week and really it's not that far from Cha Cha SING. I think these two singles have marked an overall rebound in sales. Sure they haven't been doing as well as C-ute's last two singles, but at least it's not falling.

Tsukiatteru, Monkey Dance, Ryuusei/Danna-sama, Bus Guide/Rival and Otakebi/Tomodachi are all 30k+ singles. Honestly they just need good songs and promotion. Plus not ruining their momentum, cha cha SING should have been followed by something similar - Momusu didn't go back to Pyoko after One Two Three because that would have been idiotic.

A lot of those songs had anime tie ins which is why I mentioned that in the second part of my post.

And plus, what would they've followed cha cha sing with? Another Thai cover? Or another 17K first weeker like superhero girls?

Be Genki actually sold 15k first week...
I don't think another Be Genki would have been bad though... They just need to promote their stuff more...
(They don't even have to have a lot of TV appearances for their singles... Just adding in more handshake events could do the trick)

They already have several handshake events for WANT!.
It's doing much better than their last original single. I can see that H!p is still trying to find the right style for berryz.
Their next single probably will be another crazy and catchy song like CCS.

They started the 2nd week on #4, with the #3 selling 3.085 copies in a complete idol top 5. This should give them a stronger 2nd then the last couple of singles, it could still top the 30k in the end.
