Coincidentally, Up Up Girls just announce last week they are going to have a tour around selected cities. In each city they will challenge a idol group from that city.

Each challenger from the cities have been identified except Tokyo. Tokyo's idol group is listed as a secret, a surprise.

We just have to wait and see it the Tokyo challenger is going to be Morning Musume.

Up Up Girls chance to take on the "Gods" of H!P.

Taking on MM that early "in the feud" would not be the best way to "book the angle" in my opinion.

Better would be to build up the anticipation for the match by having UUG's "take out" an established group so that UUG's can be seen as a "credible threat". So, I would use S/Mileage to "do the job". They have a built in "story line" with UUG's because Dawa, Kanyon, Take-chan and Rina where all in "developmental" with the UUG's but they were chosen to be brought up "to the main roster" ahead of the UUG's. So, these are girls that the UUG's would certainly want to prove that they were "better than".

Even though S/Mileage is "booked to lose" they would not have to loose any steam. You could have youtube vignettes afterward showing that the lose had "lit a fire under their butts" and they would be trying twice as hard in the future.

The first time since she joined that I felt like Riho was deserving of the center position. She was working the hell out of that dance. Oddly enough I kept losing track of Ayumi. But only because I was watching Haruna being not awful and awkward.

I didn't want to be the one to point it out (cuz, you know, I oshi Haruna like a mad man) but I'm glad someone else noticed she wasn't awkward during this. She's really found her stride.

I watched Sakura pretty close, too, to see how she was a the newbie and Sakura is a good, well rounded member. Her dancing was pretty much right there already. She's one to watch out for, that's for sure

Watched the Dance Shot a bunch more. Love lots of stuff, but can't stand the bits where they form a line toward the camera. Both the one-line formation and two-line formation are the worst parts. Doesn't help that one of these leads into the Sakura solo.

I have a feeling that the PV will have close up dance shots like Wakuteka. That will make it look a lot better in the PV not to mention they might cut out those parts in favor of close ups.

SO good. I absolutely love it!!!!! The dance takes it to a whole new level imo.

And Sakura's voice really makes this single my favorite since EJL left, I think.

I was surprised you hadn't mentioned it. I actually watched the last three dance shots back to back last night and you can see some clear progression with her dancing.

1:48 was definitely a cut. Notice Fukuhime's head.

I'm not bothered by the edits, though. I reckon that the dance is brand spanking new, so they haven't had nearly enough time to practice the complex choreography. And prolly that Tsunk wanted to have this out before Tennou Tanjoubi. But they'll have plenty of time to iron out the kinks before major promotional activities commence.
