But me -- I just live in Covina, California, a bit east of Los Angeles...

Good point -- it's culturally, historically, and linguistically distinct, and it includes a lot of big islands which are not part of any continent.

My stepdad has lived and worked there before.

I live right between downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

Asia is too big. Central and South Asia aren't included either. I'd say the U.S. could be broken down into regions as well because the Midwest =/= the rest , but I suppose you can't fit everything into the poll. Maybe some bored individual can compile the responses and organize them a week from now.
