her vocals for Samishii Nettaigyo are good too, but the arrangement is a little distracting at times.

[Daisuki Daiiyo]

Secret base was one of my favorites when I was listening through the album earlier. I can't remember what her version of Daite Hold on Me sounds like, even though I know I made it a point to listen to it intently . Along with Love Namidairo, which I like, but the new arrangement kind of loses not only the tone the original had, but also the same umph it had at certain parts of the arrangement.

Maybe I've just got the original so ingrained in my mind. I remember watching the 5th gen audition, and hearing Love Namidairo ad nauseam, and then going and trying to memorize the song myself lol.

Anywho, those tracks aside, the only other ones that really stick with me are the Natsuiro no Nancy and 17sai covers. I'll have to give the album another listen through again, eventually.

I hate the production of this album. most of the songs don't sound dynamic, they just sound like nothing until a familiar singing melody comes in.

So I'm pretty much done listening to this album - it's fantastic, even the songs I didn't know sound pretty great. Incredibly solid cover album, such a shame Kikka simply doesn't seem to sell too well.
