Heroine is my favourite Berryz single, but goddamn that PV was cheap.

i didn't mind the butt scratch (i call it the hip maneuver) but i REALLY minded the part where they spread there legs like < > and slowly caress their thighs. that was the most awkward move they've ever done (and they have plenty all throughout their discography). also the part where Risako mounts Captain (it looks like a t-rex got really friendly with the little goat before before it ultimately devours it), but i tolerate it because it amuses me.

right around 2:18. Maasa does it to Yurina too, but the angle is better for them plus even in the other dance shot it just looks like they're competing for who's the tallest, where as Risako makes Captain disappear.

also, after watching this i realized i remembered it wrong. the most awkward move in the history of Berryz is when they squat down and play pretend drums. the one where they caress their thighs is still awkward (especially considering it's during the instrumental, so all eyes are on the dance) but just because they spread their legs too wide, rather than being a fundamentally a horrible idea from every angle the like squatting drum butt swish.
