Oh, if Ayaya and Ai-chan were in H!P Airi would definitely be third. I just feel like anyone who's non-MM tends to get shafted. Ayaya is honestly kind of a relic of the past and who knows if anyone as good as Ai-chan will ever reappear.

And I'm not denying that Sakura is good; she has both talent and a rather pleasant tone of voice (which is arguably more important than actual technique). But at the same time other than the audition footage and the Kono Chikyuu audio, we don't have anything else to base her off of. Hopefully she lives up to the hype.

Also, it'd be kind of pointless if Sakura doesn't lead/center the next single. Hopefully UF* knows what they're doing.

I think you all are reading way too much into Soonk's remark. It was meant to hype up Sakura by comparing her to two of H!P's most legendary singers. He didn't have the purpose in mind of saying, these two are our best of all time, and everybody else is 2nd tier.

She wins so many points in my book for picking Sayu as the person she admire/look up to, she even likes her singing Love Reina's reaction to that lol, she's really the only one left who can make fun of Sayu without caring much but the rest of 9th/10th gen reaction is priceless too

Sakura already seems to be pretty self-aware as an idol, that's a very good sign.

One girl generations are always nice to me because one, I don't have to remember more names and two, she'll have to carve out her niche in the group harder because there isn't someone in the same situation that can relate, girl's on her own to shine.

I think she's precious looking and like her already, just, long game looking, I don't see her shifting the tides in MoMusu's favour.
