I think this is the first time I've heard her voice "up close," right into the mic without ambient noise, and it does have a certain depth and resonance that most of the others don't. (Mizuki and Kanon come close, but not quite.) She sounds like a softer, shyer Riho with more potential.

There are two ways It can go from here: either she loses her shyness and becomes simply loud like the rest of them, or with training and practice she becomes a truly great singer. The impressions are a good sign — they show she already pays attention to voices and voice control.

I would also describe Haruka as having depth and resonance to her voice -- more than Mizuki, but less than Sakura. Like somewhere in-between. I noticed that a lot of current and former eggs sing in that fuller way (Kikka, Sekine, Karin, Haruka, Mizuki, Sayuki, etc, etc). It makes me wonder if the girls currently in H!P get the same training as the eggs because a lot of them haven't developed that nice supported sound like they should have (Haruka and Sakura developed it very quickly after joining eggs, like within a year). I'm just looking for some excuse, I guess, but it's probably just because they don't have it in them. Of course, people improve at different rates. I don't know. *sigh*
