i may not have been strongly rooting for her, but everyday i feel more confident that Tsunku made the right choice (that's why he's the producer and not me).

Wow... Sakura can really sing! Be prepared for a major shift in line distribution with Sakura getting loads of them. I don't know if Sakura will join Reina and Riho as the lead singers or oust Riho to form a Reina Sakura lead, but something is going to happen. Sadly its currently as if Riho replaced Ai and when Reina graduates Sakura and Riho will be the two leads making Sakura the new "Reina". I don't agree with it, but its how Tsunku seems to work.

But I love Sakura's voice. Its just lovely. Its unlike Riho's voice who I feel gets the lines only because she dances well and she's popular, not because she can sing any better than the other girls. Just as a disclaimer I love Riho and I don't think she sings badly, just not better than some of the other kyukkies and jyukkies and not nearly as well as Ai or Reina. Sakura has the potential to reach Ai and Reina's level of ability. She really does. I think Tsunku made the perfect choice.

I can't see Sakura as a front girl, no matter how good her voice is. She'll probably get as many lines as Sayumi/Mizuki, but I don't think she'll be the next Riho or anything.
