omg Hamachan. That was the saddest thing I have ever seen. She's so cute ... and the tears ... oh, why?!?! ;_; I hope she improves her singing and debuts as part of a new egg group because she's the cutest little crocodile hamster baby in the whole world. Yeah. Sakura was definitely the best there. I'm ridiculously happy she was added and even more happy that she was the only one added. It's so perfect. My future as a fan is secure. I was getting a little worried for a while there.

1) Sayu said "Her outfit is way more flamboyant than any of ours, even thought she's the newbie???" and Tsoonk replied that since they were planning for 2-3 they had overbudgeted and Sakura got more spent on her as a result.
2) Haruna watched the Satoyama footage and like us figured the announcement would come in the later concerts (specifically Nakano)
3) Reina's glad that someone who can sing was finally added.


And I really like Sakura. I know people hate referring to them as such but she's definitely ace-status. She's (reasonably) cute pre-idol transformation, she dances well, she sings really well, and she seems to have a pleasant personality.

But here's the twist; 9ki and Tenki just got their blogs (literally less than a week ago) so if Sakura was to get one... Would she be the first youngster to get her own blog? Or will they make her wait until she's older?

That's an interesting question... My guess is that they'll wait 'til she's a little older. But H!P is full of surprises lately.

If they're gonna push her a lot like the new single gen they should give her one by the beginning of next month or something. Where she blogs abt her activities before doing them as a part of MM. Even if just to make it fanclub-only for a few months and then with her debut single with MM, she could get her solo blog. I definitely think she'll get one way sooner than 9ki10ki did.

OK, I haven't defended Takahashi for a long time. Couldn't we just say, "introverted" or "not exceptionally outgoing" instead of a dud? I mean, Aichan has a lovely personality. It seems wrong to call her a "dud" simply because she's wasn't particularly demonstrative. And we're quick to blame her supposed blandness for the lull in Momusu's popularity, but let's face it, something much more fundamental has changed recently in H!P managment. The whole unit's been more agressively promoted - you can't blame the entire old way of doing things on Ai.

And by way of comparison Atsuko Maeda was lionized in Japan in her final days, despite having a personality that's just as ...unperky.. as Aichan's. That tells us that management has a big role in how the artist is perceived.

lol then I guess management failed Takahashi in that aspect, and I hope the same does not happen to Sakura. I mean, I like Takahashi well enough, but I'd still hope that management were to take Sakura the way of Maeda than Taka. That is, if Sakura does turn out to be equally as bland, they just make her seem mysterious and aloof, instead of just letting her fall flat, only to blossom way after the spotlight on the group has waned.

Michishige : I was surprised of course but kyuuki and jyuuki are just way too surprised i don't even have the time to be properly surprised. I can only think of "Calm down everyone !!" in my mind. But i guess since it's the first time jyuuki will have a kouhai so..
Tsunku : Sayashi what about you?
Sayashi : Me? Somehow i had a feeling something is gonna happen today
Tsunku : Seriously?
Sayashi : When the announcement was made i was just "i thought so!!'
Tsunku: Daiishi?
Ishida : I was the the opposite, i don't feel anything's going to happen today
Tsunku : How about you Sato? There's finally another one who can take the part of an imouto around here, though technically she's a little bit older than you (Oda is older by about a month iirc)

Ikuta said something about her rivals in the group not changing even with the new gen and working hard not to lose her position at the moment
Zukki said even though they're the same age she feels they're very different, she hopes they can work hard together as friends as well as rivals
Kudou said when they were doing the nama tamago show she thought oda was good at singing and when she heard about the suppin utahime audition she was sure someone who's good at singing will come and after knowing the result now that oda passed she thought "as expected from tsunku-san"

I forgot fukuchan has that spiritual girl/reikan shoujo streak too
