In the youtube description it says that after receiving this version, the girls in MM get taught the dance by the girl that represented them in this verison, one by one.

And Tsunku wrote in his blog, that this version was the final one and it's the one that the members of MM memorize and such, but even so there are always 2-3 changes made for them, once they have memorized the original dance. Then, for lives and such, it happens that they change 1-2 things more.

^ i bet they added the hand holding because it represents the teamwork of the group or something.. but yeah, i prefer looking awesome but not symbolic rather than symbolically awkward.

however i still love MM's version to bits and watching the dummy version, i don't think they're far at all! and they will be even better for the PV and/or lives~ SO EXCITED FOR THAT!! i love this song and choreography sfm i actually feel pangs in my chest.

The dummu musume's timing was nearly perfect. Amazing.

Now this makes me want to see Up-Up Girls to do a dance cover of Wakutake. IMO, UUG have better cohesion than Momusu at the moment

Yay generation songs! But y u no do dis moar when Eri was in the group, Tsoonk. ):

I love that many of the dance moves actually represents what they're singing at that one line. The hand holding is during the "chikyuu ga mawatteru" or whatever, and then represents the earth moving, as they sing it. And the other hand..thing? Is sung with "kaze ga" something, about when the wind... blows or whatever. I don't remember the lyrics atm lol.
