So my 5 year old cousin is pretty picky when it comes to everything, but she really liked One Two Three. She kept asking me to repeat the dance shot so she could mimic the dance and even memorized some of the lyrics which was adorable. Sooo... that song ended up selling over 100k and outsold nearly all the past singles since somewhere in 2003. Sure it was the 50th single and given tons of promotion but I felt that since she liked it that it meant many casual fans will like it to. So I just showed her Wakuteka Take A Chance and she really liked it, but it seems not as much as OTT. She enjoyed the video and asked about the girls again (she thinks Mizuki Riho and Sayu are the prettiest and questioned if Haruka was a boy :/) but she hasn't made me play it on repeat or danced to it. Maybe when the PV is released she will like it more. I think it's a good sign tho. She pretty much walked away half way during Renai Hunter and asked for OTT instead... She also loves Robokiss by W, but that's mainly because she likes the PV and all the robots. She used to like Seishun Love Lunch too, but she was like 3.

Hmm...just noticed the release date is quite close to the album. I'm a bit worried now for the album sales if most ppl would prefer to save up for this single but guess that's okay too if it means more sales for this single lol XD

Well she is 5 so I'm sure any girl with short hair looks like a boy. Although we were watching via the IPhone so it was hard to see faces. She also mentioned that she prefers the regular edition of the album cover than the limited edition noting that on the regular edition she "can see their pretty dresses" lol she's too cute.

There were no bad singles durning the platinum era , but Onna ni sachi are are was obviously the best ! And yes PPU is a little overbearing but it was more of an aside than the c/w. but I'm glad where tsunku is Going with musumes musically.

Overall I like it. Definitely following the Renai Hunter~OneTwoThree style. I think most of the girls stood out one way or another, except for Haruka.
Reina and Riho stood out for obvious reasons.
Zukki got a lot of surprising front time.
Erina looks natural performing.
Sayu, Masaki, and Ayumi all got duet lines in addition to their solos.
The person that stood out for me the most is Mizuki. Someone stated that Riho and Ayumi are the best technical dancers but that Mizuki has the most style and I completely agree. All three should be good (if not great) dancers because of their years of formal training (I'm counting Mizuki being an Egg even though I feel like she had "idol" training and not necessarily hardcore dance training) but Mizuki just has flair. Dare I say this about her but girl is undeniably sexy. She definitely moves her waist and hips the best in addition to the fact that she has a sexy body (Sorry Haruna). The fact that Mizuki has the most style in addition to the fact that Tsunku's been using her as a second tier vocalist (alongside Sayu) and I can see totally see Mizuki leading a song every now and then.
Now Haruna, poor Haruna. They did a good job of largely hiding the fact that her dancing is still awkward. Better, but awkward. But I guess it's better than she awkwardly standouts (hi Johnson!) than fade into the background (:[ Aika and in this case Haruka).

^One of the things i liked about OTT was the PonPon parts, they seem to compliment each other perfectly.

This song is the love child of Mr Taxi and BoPeep.
Not that that's bad at all, I enjoy it. :thumbs-up:
