Chanting wants Mogi in, that automatically means that she is invalid.

Kita St Cyr wrote:She never did learn to sing but she was one of the most popular front girls and soloists in H!P during her time - in fact the year that Maki graduated from H!P Koha was outselling her as a soloist.

So, you know, Mogi could hope for much worse.

Yeah, but everyone hated her behind the scenes, and she's so distant to H!P now. Other past members still shout out the girls on their blog, show up to stuff with them, and are still friends, but what about Koha? lol I dunno, I just feel like despite her 'success' (which was really only Balalalalalalakskaska selling 80k, right? None of the others did that well), she was poison in the water to the other girls. I am pretty sure she is the reason for the members of C-ute departing, like I am certain she poked holes in Kanna's boyfriends rubbers and caused her to get a bunion in the oven, and then convinced Umechan that she was Korean and could join 4minute. I really do. And last I checked, Momousse hit 100k without her, soooo.

Not that Mogi will go this route. Maybe being an egg has taught her friendship, and teamwork, and to learn the damn dances and songs :hmmm:

Anyway if you want to compare Maki and Koha, let's do it fairly. You can't compare Maki when she was turning into a sexpot, and on her way out with little promotion, to Koha who had a bunch of tie ins and a morning show. You'd have to compare that Koha to like, Te wo Nigitte Maki lol.

p.s. I also think that Sayu's eyebrows add to her Ichiban Kawaiiness factor ok. If she goes browless she may be usurped by the lessers, such as Momochi, Fukuchan, or Kanyon.

The whole thing about pitching this or that girl as an "Ace," "Miracle," "Kwisatz Haderach," or whatever is so bogus (hey, none of them can even walk on water, let alone control a giant sandworm!) -- I'm convince by now that whenever we see an idol, what we're really looking at is this:
Spoiler: show

So I suppose the question that we ought to be asking ourselves is, "Which ones are the most likely to spring a leak, and need a bicycle-tire patch in some really unsightly place?"

XD

Do you know how hard it is to find a picture of an inflato-dall that isn't completely X-rated? :fear:

Spoiler: show
There's these kinds too you know http://www.otadesho.com/rozen-maiden-dollfies/. The amount of work and care is that goes toward making it are kinda epic
Not all dolls are so creepy or so disgustingly used :fear: but i guess the comparisons still stands if i put it that way lol

Btw can someone please help collate all that we know so far about the ones auditioning (screencap next to name/tag number/additional info etc)
You know, just so we can sling insults slightly better informed XD

Main reason I don't want Mogi in:

- I don't want another Aika

What I mean is, first: like Aika she's another mostly untalented girl who doesn't got the looks either.
And most importantly: If she passes she'll be instantly hated and ignored, just like Aika has been all these years. Aika was mostly hated because Kikka didn't get in (who was the fans favorite) and fans just couldn't get over that. Why pick a plain and unremarkable girl over the talented and cute ones? It could happen again with Mogi.

Also, remember times are different now, girls aren't as "rough" as the ones who were picked years ago. Previous experience in the showbiz/idol/modelling world is appreciated.

I don't know if Mogi would be another Aika or not, but I know that I really don't want that situation again. There isn't an unpopular/hated girl in the group right now, and I like that. A lot.

I dont think Aika is ugly per say, her sense of style and hair sucks and despite being friendly with Reina, none of Reina's fashion sense rubbed off on her. Like her 8th gen colleagues Aika was just looked over in favor of Ai/Koharu. I think Aika could have been good if Tsunku had pushed her. If you want to compare Mogi with someone it would be Koharu, a Koharu without the heavy promotion that Koharu had.

People need to stop coming for Aika's head like that lol. If Kikka was so dynamic and interesting and perfect she'd be doing better now than she is. If Tsunku thought she had what it takes to be in Morning Musume he would've added her, he didn't. Aika was even his favorite for a second iirc.

The girls are still rough. I think because you like them you see the best in them as opposed to say Haruna's complete lack of dancing ability, Ayumi and Eripon's horrible singing, Kanon, Reina's lazy lethargic dancing, Riho, etc etc. There are still "rough" girls in Morning Musume.

That's still Riho. She dances well but she's not a standout when it comes to their choreography.
