It's hard to compare her and Ayumi because the group dynamic is so different. Makoto had Nacchi, Maki Goto as front girls with Yoshizawa, Rika, and Mari getting love. I think Ayumi has a better chance to be at minimum a second tier girl cause Makoto at the end of the day got buried into the back.

Sad considering she had such a good start and tremendous amount of potential. Had she not graduated and stayed around for the platinum era should would have definitely gotten more attention.

^That's kind of Tsunku's fault though. Mako has always been rock solid but he never used her.

Can someone tweet at Tsunku to remind him and just ask whats happening with the units?

If they dont act soon they're gonna lose their hype. Like they didnt even get media coverage of being new units really

I think that's more because they haven't really done anything. I'm sure they'll get more coverage in general if they actually release something, or perform somewhere that isn't an H!P concert.

Problem with Mako was her looks, she wasn't bad looking or anything like that, but she wasn't pretty either. Makoto was talented since the beginning but Aichan improved quickly past her (and she got the looks)...

And then Makoto got fat, that put her into back row immediately.

Makoto developed an problem/injury with her leg/hip right after the release of "Get Up Rapper!" This corresponds to the start of the period when she put on weight. Up until that point she was getting a decent push so I don't think her prettiness or lack thereof was a problem.

...........wat.

1. Makoto was/is GORGEOUS. Anyone that can't see that has very, very bad taste in women. She has always been one of the more attractive girls in H!P during her time.

2. Makoto was never..fat? She gained weight, yes, but was never classified as fat. That's just ludicrous to even suggest something like that. :|

In H!P anyone who isn't very tiny seems to get called fat.

I think Kanon is more Makoto like than Ayumi. The energy, the constant smiling, the unfairly being called fat because they're not size 00.
