I think being a fan of an egg is overrated, we don't get really much opportunities to get to know them properly.

Kanon, Akari and Haruka are characters who were unexpectedly unique personalities didn't really show this till their own debut.

I kinda really really want Yamaga in Morning Musume omgoshhhh and yes Karin needs to go solo after releasing her awesome solo song

Hey liking an egg isn't overrated. Although I understand that all the new girls haven't been eggs long enough, most joined in 2011 and they definitely need at least 2 - 4 years before debut.

But the egg sempai are definately on the table. Karin is ready to debut and I'd be happy with her in MoMusu or as a soloist. She's done Shin Minimoni, Kopinks!, various plays and so forth. She has the most experience right now and I hope she gets something. I just don't want her to end up an Akari Saho and get shafted from debut only to end up in Up Up Girls who as a group I only say to myself... I'm glad they are doing something after graduating from the eggs... Any of the other older eggs I'd be fine with too. We've actually gotten to see their personalities a lot more than the new girls because they've been around for a while.

Edit: Just watched last years teaser again and Haruna was in their as well!!! Also Fuuka Tanaka who didn't make it but was at least in the training round. We definitely should be seeing at least one finalist in the mix!

in the teaser, they showed most of the Kenshuusei singing and dancing the 3rd round requirements like Fuyuka, Sakura, Nanami, Okumuun, Mogi, Kurumi, Hamaura. I saw Hinako sitting as well. 56 people passed to the 3rd they said (not including Kenshuusei)

and YES!!! NO KARIN!!
