And I'm saying this in part because I despise the no-boyfriends rule and consider it (at least in any sane universe) to be unenforceable. Whien I first heard about it, I found it so repellent and depressing that I wanted to get away from listening to J-idol music entirely. But then I realized that it probably was unenforceable in practice, and I assumed (rightly or wrongly) that H!P and other idol-management groups were willing to look the other way, as long as the girls were discreet enough to keep their (or their co-workers') relationships out of the public eye (and away from the front page of Friday).
If that's the case, then a high level of discretion is even more important, since H!P needs it to cover for the extreme unrealism (I still think the universe isn't that twisted) of the no-boyfriends rule...
