This would have been a great song if another group sang it. Ayaka's voice is so terrible, it hurts the ears. I personally think she was never a strong singer to begin with, her voice always sounds so childish on top of it (isn't she over 16? Why is she still singing like that?). She was always the weakest out of the original 4. Some of the new girls sound better than her, but sadly the quality still went down overall. Some of them show potential and are pleasant to listen to, but it feels like Kanon is carrying all the weight. Before that, even though all of them sounded young, they had Saki who sounded great and Yuuka who also sounded good with her distinctive voice.

This song would have been better if it was a c-ute song or something, it fits their current image more.

Ayacho sings with her natural voice, why would she change that?

And even though she's still not the best singer you clearly hear the improvement if you listen to earliest songs and the most recent songs back to back. All the extra vocal lessons that she had to take did pay off, her voice has become much more stable.

She sounds fine, if you want her to sound like a 6 years old (imo). I don't like the way S/mileage sings in general, but you can hear some have the skill even though I don't like the way they sing. It feels like she doesn't have it and she's only relying on her baby/grating voice. Their style fits better with other songs, but it becomes more noticable with hot/cool/mature songs they pick once in a while. Kanon is the only one in the group who has a versatile voice that can handle most styles, others show promise but I don't know if they'll be as good as her in the future. Well, they don't have to as good as long as they sound decent.

I guess I'll leave it at taste and opinion, but no one else ever noticed or were bothered too?
