OK - TO END THE DISCUSSION:


The girls' colors are actually assigned by a PANTONE#. However, coming from a fashion background, when I order fabric and I want it in Pantone 6798 the printing is NEVER actually 6798, it's always a little off depending on the fabric content, amount of dye, type of dye, etc - so all this tshirt vs tshirt comparison is mute - Masaki is mint. That's going to always be the same pantone on the web, but never the same outside in print.

Fact is, unless someone at UF gives us her pantone and LinLin's pantone - we shall never really know the difference.

Actually... on the 10th gen ustream show the girls referred to her colors as emerald green... So I'm a bit torn tbh. xD

it does seem a lot closer to mint leaf to me which is why it bothers me so much. i mean i also worked in the fashion industry. like.. her color doesn't look like the pantone for mint. well it does but there are other ones that are closer.

so her color is probably factually another color, but they call it mint, and that is fine. it's like they call haruna's color honey yellow and it probably will NOT be the pantone for honey yellow because that would be extremely dull.
