[07/25] Berryz Koubou 29th single "cha cha SING"

The song was okay, I think. Very 90s and reminds me a lot of the Street Fighter Alpha 2 soundtrack. But those incredibly awful costumes and the painfully boring PV, wow. It's a funky cool song, not a depressing ballad for grannies, nor a commercial for cheap, plastic-shiny Walmart pajamas. Lol, I could write a book about how much I hated 2011 Berryz-wise.

I guess it's also that almost every other single was amazing. I didn't like a few of the earlier singles, but it was more the squeaky, kiddy voices than anything.

Perhaps it's the drastic effect of the awful costumes as well.

I don't remember what Aa, Yo ga Akeru sounds like, but I do remember the weird nightgown outfits.

Those outfits made me glad it was never performed on TV. At least the Ai no Dangan plastic wrappers were somewhat cool and they would have been okay without the amateur stripper dancing.

I liked the song, but yeah, the outfits were a very bad idea. I felt so awkward watching them dance.

I liked Aa, Yo ga Akeru AND Ai no Dangan. I even liked those wannabe Akira suits they had on.

But yeah whatever they were trying to do with Aa, Yo ga Akeru didn't work.
