[10/10] Morning Musume : Wakuteka Take a chance

After Seishun Collection, I was almost done. But then Lullaby Game came out, and I was back. And then somehow the 9th generation coming in turned me into a super fan. I really enjoyed watching them progress and seeing them practice backstage and perform for the first time.

And back to talking about the 51st single --- I wonder if they're going to have them wearing their colors again.

I never understood why people dislike Seishun Collection but like Genki Pika Pika. They're practically the same song lol. OGMNI had that awesome fiddle breakdown. HOW CAN ONE HATE IT!? HOW???

I dislike both, if that makes you feel any better.

As for OGMNI I do like it. Just not as much as some other songs but it's definitely in my top 20 singles. I like singing it at karaoke and stuff. I just felt like the presentation of it as a whole (PV, covers, costumes) was a bit .. underwhelming.

But of course I personally am a fan of emo musume.

Seishun Collection is so fun, empowering, gentle, happy, awesome. I think the hate comes from the weird outfits

Nah for me it has nothing to do with the outfits, which I actually sort of liked. I just really, really hate the song.

Agreed, I just hate those two songs because I really hate those two songs. Outfits and everything else is besides the point. Also I don't care for Genki Pika Pika. It seems fun in concerts, but would be an awful single. Also I loved Mikan! Why were the sales so low? I understand why the sales were horrendously low for Pyoko Pyoko Ultra, but Mikan was great!

People suggest it was because it had almost no promotion after they spent all the money promoting the crap out of the "10th anniversary"

i wasnt around for mikan so im guessing horrible promo maybe? most of the times they were on tv shows were for NR, RB, NK and SYO, I think they did have some promo for KP

I love Mikan(first song I heard from that era, OGMNI(made me into a MM fan after my break from them), Shouganai, ONSA, and NR. I still can't get into KP, Seishun Collection is kinda boring, and I have to be in the mood to listen to NK. Overall, Platinum Era had some good songs imo
