The outfit Kanon got doesn't make her look any smaller either, js.
In her own clothes in blog pics etc she looks perfectly healthy and normal. Maybe a bit on the chubby side but not unhealthy imo.

This, really. In normal clothing she looks fine, and obviously smaller than in the "One Two Three" outfits (at least to me).

The top they chose to give her really makes her look wider/boxier (as it does on Reina, Riho, etc. - they just happen to be less busty and already pretty thin before putting it on). If Mizuki put that top on I think it would have a similar effect (since she's not stick thin, and she's also kind of busty). Had Kanon been given one of the longer tops I don't think we would be noticing it quite as much.

Okay so there are two different outfits? One looked kind of connected and stiff to me and I thought I was making it up.

wotakubrandon: Yeah, there are two different outfits. Mainly the tops that are different, the skirts and socks/boots are the same (though the longer top covers more of the skirt).

Sayumi, Mizuki, Erina, and Haruna have a longer, less boxy top (that is sometimes strapless).
Reina, Riho, Kanon, Ayumi, Masaki, and Haruka have shorter boxier tops (that are always with straps).

Hell yea, for every idol that some guy turns down because of her weight, I will be there to pick dat booty up because there truly is someone for everyone.

Also yeah, that's what people don't think about. She may be "chubby" by Western standards, but in Japan she is considerably overweight. It sucks bc she was getting so much screen time on tv shows - but they'll probably extend her costume and shove her in the back now *cough* Maasa *cough*
