^ that would have been amazing.
though at the time of auditions i didn't really want Kikka to win either (she seemed like a Maasa 2.0 to me).. since then i have seen the error of my ways. that would have been great.

i don't really like the way Takechan is taking the tomboy thing (SPORTS!!! baseball. um.. SPORTS!!) but i don't mind a more naturally tomboyish chara like Haruka and Chisato (i'm not a huge Chissaa fan, but it's not because of her tomboyishness). i'd even consider Mikitty a tomboy, in that she wasn't concerned with being cute, beautiful, graceful, etc.. she was there to do her job (and outshine other girls) and didn't care about her posture or whatever else.

Can I ask why? :0

As for joining... I would love a 1 girl generation though I don't think it'll happen so I'm having my fingers crossed for two. Three would be acceptable though. And please no brats or people who don't know how to behave. I'd love some talented girls, as well. Also charisma. And a girl who isn't shy would be nice too. Just no brats please.

It felt disjointed and awkward, which I think it was on the inside. After having the same lineup for so long then suddenly getting rid of 3 and adding 4 (Not only just adding 4, but adding 4 who were really young and shoving one of the 4 into the center position) it created an awkward and empty dynamic. It's not the girls fault at all, really they should have been adding a steady stream of girls from 2003 (When they stopped for some reason and only added Koharu like YEARS later, then 8th gen YEARS after that). It really felt like a time of transition and I don't think they found their footing again till Renai Hunter.

I felt it was a little strange how we're getting new members every year now, but then that was how it was in the first few years of the group until 6th gen. and then it just slowed down. I wish I had the chance to be a fan since the beginning

I really liked the 15-nin line-up from Shabondama to Ai Araba It's All Right <3

That's when I started listening to Moring Musume -- it was my favorite lineup, and I felt sad when the group started to shrink. After a while, it just didn't seem right.

It wouldn't of hurt, I mean, at least she woulda had some type of role.

Yea, I wanted Kikkawa. And the girl that went to Avex honestly. But that's got jack squat to do with why I disliked Aika. To me every girl in Morning Musume brought one or more of these three things to the group. Looks, talent, or energy. Aika is the only girl that brought none. Asuka wasn't cute. Her personality was really bleh. But she's one of their best singer's ever. Kei look's could be questioned, but never her effort. Even though idols are created instead of having natural abilities normal girls cannot do what they do and to me, Aika was a normal girl masquerading as an idol. Until 9th gen came and she had to take more of a leadership role to me she came off as she didn't give a fuck about what she did, about making herself a better idol, and by then, the injuries got her and it was too late. So I don't know about everyone else, they could just be die hard Kikkawa fans and haters, but me I have my reasons. The girl NEVER gave me any reason to be her fan.

Anyway it's been since prolly when 5th gen came in that more than not people feel about an audition with a don't fix what's not broken viewpoint. I wonder if Tsunku feels without another voice in the group he's restricted to Ren'ai Hunter and One Two Three type songs instead of his usual doing whatever the hell he wants.

I don't feel like retyping, so...

Granny voice and granny bones notwithstanding, she's smart, she's cute, she's humble, she has a great work ethic, and she has one of the best bodies in the company right now. Other members may have more idol power, but she's the one I'd actually want to get to know better.

I just think that Kikka should have been added with Aika in the 8th gen.I loved Aika, I loved her in Guardians 4. She was definitely underrated. Like I said before I feel bad for the way she was added. She was added alone and everyone wanted Kikka and took their anger out at her. She felt lonely because she was the only one in her generation and the other girls barely spoke to her, then all of a sudden Jun/Lin were added and everyone spoke to them instead. This is something she has complained about before. I mean how did Tsunku even pull that off? The pandas were added two singles after Aika joined... thats practically a new generation. How can you say they are from the same gen when they did not audition together or enter together? Where is that bond formed from having the same journey. (Its kind of the same reason why I found Miki Fujimoto's addition to 6th gen awkward... but at least Miki joined at the same time) Kikka would have made a 4 nin gen and would have been a great friend and partner for Aika. Plus it would have gave us more 8th gen members so as to not leave such a wide gap in members when the 9th and 10th gen were added. Kikka would have still been in Momusu now had she joined with Aika.

8th gen was just weird and poorly handled. Like a plan not well thought out or changed on the fly or honestly, like a bunch of people making decisions and not being on the same page trying to push their own agendas. In the end, they all got the rawest deals of any of the Musume.

Even though, hind sight being 20/20, for Momusu in the end I think it worked out. 4/5th of the group right now being new combined with 2 of the more popular girls seems to be working.

Reina really isn't that popular, shockingly enough. At least with the general public. My Japanese friends all know Sayumi and they can't name any other Morning Musume members. I asked my friend Sayuri and she said "Michishige Sayumi...and...Nacchi?" haha
