The funny thing is that nobody saw that coming.
101k sales is just..... IN THE FIRST WEEK ONLY.
I've been a fan for about 9 or 10 years now and this is the first time I got this excited with a sales boost because it's so significative for this girls right now. Whether this is a isolated event or not, I don't care. I can say that, after the sales of this single, people will notice the new Morning Musume. After this single, some people will become their regular fanbase for sure. Maybe their next single won't sell as high but won't be back at that point where most of the people still were like "What? Morning Musume's still arround? Bah".
It's not just about sales. This is a real victory for Morning Musume.

I'm like so so happy right now wih these sales!! This is amazing!! Congrats to Momusu! And the fact that these are only first week sales makes it even better!! I'm gonna have all the songs from this single on continuous play all day!!! o(^▽^)o

Congratulations MM!! 
I am SO happy for them!! I feel like they've really proven themselves to Japan that they're a force to be reckoned with! Also, I'm so proud of Sayumi!! I hope management really turns over a new leaf! This line up has lots of potential it'd be a shame not to usurp their talents!
I'm dying for this to come in the mail! But, I chose the cheapest shipping option on Cdjapan. Gonna be like 3 weeks, right? I remember doing the same with Iroppoi Jirettai and it being forever. Ah well~ Are there any online ordering sites that contribute to their Oricon ranks? <_< If there is, it's going DOWN on their next single.
What TV performances are there for this? I've only seen one so far! ;_;

CD Japan does count towards Oricon.
