[07/25] Berryz Koubou 29th single "cha cha SING"

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

I love everything about it. The dance is great (Its a cover and pretty much matches the original dance) The song is so catchy! The set is awesome (Reminds me of Koi no Dance site or Happy Summer Wedding or something) The outfits looks gorgeous, Miyabi and Risako especially.

Before the preview was released and I heard the original I knew Risako would sound amazing and she really really does.
So does everyone else too! The line distribution is great, everyone gets a chance to shine vocally.

I don't think this will be Berryz One Two Three or Kimi wa Jitensha... well Berryz does have part in H!P's current success with Cho Happy Song, but hopefully it will do way better than Be Genki. I'm glad they are capitalizing on the current success they have in Thailand and Momochi's success on variety shows. So I do think even with low-average sales Berryz has also had a great year.

Now that you mention it, yeah, it's a bit sad that this won't break records like C-ute's and Morning Musume's last singles. Let's hope for the best, this has to be promoted to hell and back. It's been an awesome Berryz year for me, as a fan, infinitely better than 2011.

we can't forget that sometimes the most unexpected songs turn out to be the ones to break the sales just like C-ute's Kimi chari!
I have high hopes for this since if they can get it to play on the radio and with people listening, they'd definitely get addicted since the song's lyrics are all about the girls singing directly to the listeners, which have proven to always be good song ( add the addictive chorus and the wacky dance )

The PV is amazing for me and I don't mind them displaying the dance shot so much since it's the strong point of the PV after all.

Yeah, the song is most definitely not an issue since it has a very Jingisukan feel to it. It's the promotion, really. Get Momoko on every single TV show out there! And lots of TV performances. A promotion gimmick like Kimi Chari's tons of PVs would help a lot.

I imagine the big flashmob thing (whatever it ends up being for) could maybe help a bit in gaining some interest.

EDIT: okay now I've seen it over 5 times and I really really love it...
Everything looks so in place and is perfect with the song and the melody and all! Risako looks at the end just like a kid having fun and Chii's smile was purely amazing through it all.

The part where they go like Ikuyou!!! is the best and is the one I wanted to hear on the radio preview, it seems like they just held a mini-concert in the PV and it's definitely my favorite part

I really hope they promote it a lot. C-ute and MM are doing great now - I want Berryz to start doing better, too. Sales have been so low lately.

Love how much fun it is. Risako is flawlessly sexy and just amazing. Miyabi is gorgeous. Momoko is less annoying - though her hair has to go. Even my sister who lover her agrees. xD

Looking forward to the other versions we'll probably get.
